There are a variety of events throughout the year including two ‘open shows’ – sponsored by Kingsleigh Estate Agents – in April and September that anyone, members and non-members alike, can exhibit for free.

Most months there is a Speaker’s Evening, supported by Bland Landscapes for 2025/26, on a variety of gardening topics or subjects of local interest. In May there is a plant sale in front of Dedham Church in the centre of the village, and in June a fund-raising coffee morning in the garden of one of our members.

We also arrange an annual day trip to a garden attraction and in 2025 we visited Penshurst Place and Gardens. Trips have also included the late Geoff Hamilton’s garden, Barnsdale, in Rutland, Great Comp, Fullers Mills, Wrest Park, Hever Castle, Somerleyton Hall, Copped Hall, Peter Beales Roses and Capel Manor Gardens.
